The pumpkin spice latte, a must for flavored coffees and so popular! 🎃☕

Fall is the season when we love to spice up our desserts, breads, muffins and coffees!

Why not make a homemade recipe with pumpkin scraps! No need for a large quantity, only a few cooked and mashed pieces are enough!

What you need:

  • a piece of ginger
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 3 cloves
  • A pinch of nutmeg
  • 2 cups of milk
  • Pumpkin puree
  • A touch of maple syrup
  • strong coffee

Combine in a medium saucepan, ginger, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, milk, pumpkin puree and maple syrup.

Bring to a boil, remove from the heat, cover and leave to stand for 10 minutes.

Pass the milk through a sieve, filter the milk.

Prepare yourself a short or long espresso coffee, or a very strong filter coffee.

You can add whipping cream and sprinkle cinnamon on top!
