Modeled on our values, Café Le Torréfacteur has created a blend of coffee to support families in this situation. This coffee blend ''Le 21'' pleases with its simplicity and generous taste. On each mixture sold, an amount of $1 will be donated to the RT21 organization, which raises funds to promote the development of people with Down's syndrome.

''WHAT IS TRISOMY 21?

Trisomy 21, also called Down syndrome, is a congenital chromosomal condition caused by the presence of an extra chromosome at the ^21st pair. People with trisomy 21 present distinct clinical signs, cognitive delay and particular morphological and physiological characteristics. However, these elements vary from person to person.

The birth rate is approximately 1 case per 770 live births in the general population. It grows with maternal age.''
